Ayobami, a trained Physiotherapist studied at the University of Lagos and had his housemanship at the Teaching Hospital, Abuja, the nation’s capital. However, he has a knack for multi-tasking on IT solutions and was a founding member of the online paper.

Speaking with The New Diplomat, Mr Dayo Emmanuel, the News Editor of National Wire described the demise of Ayobami as a big loss.

According to him, the IT Manager was a huge asset to the media outfit.

In his words, “He recently completed his Master programme and other professional courses in a UK university and was to start a new job in England this September.

“He had an offer to UK and he was already mobilised to fly this month.

“He’s my nephew, but he’s more like a son to me. He lived with me briefly while waiting for his housemanship posting. We’ve lost an excellent guy,” Emmanuel said in a grieving tone.
