Scores of people have been feared dead as some suspected terror groups on Sunday attacked a church in Ondo State.

The unidentified armed men stormed St Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street, in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State and murdered several worshippers

Many members of the congregation were said to have been shot and slaughtered. The exact number of people killed or injured still remains unknown as of press time.

The Ondo State police command is also yet to issued any statement on the incident.
