Manchester United’s striker, Mason Greenwood has been in the eye of the storm after being accused of domestic violence by his girlfriend, Harriet Robson.

Harriet, a social media influencer, took to her Instagram page on Sunday, sharing disturbing pictures of her bleeding, with several bruises on her body. She claimed to have been suffering from the hands of the Manchester United star.

The social media influencer who uploaded a number of pictures, videos and voice notes to her Instagram story, wrote a caption which reads, “To everyone who wants to know what Mason Greenwood actually does to me.”

Following the emergence of the allegations several individuals have expressed their distaste at Greenwood for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend.

United, in a statement said it is aware of the circulating images, condemning any act of violence.

The statement reads, “We are aware of images and allegations circulating on social media. We will not make any further comment until the facts have been established. Manchester United does not condone violence of any kind.”

Similary, the Greater Manchester Police in a statement confirmed that it is making enquiries on the situation and will establish the case in due course.

“Greater Manchester Police is aware of images and videos circulating on social media. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances,” the police command said.

Greenwood, a 20-year-old rising star has made a total of 129 appearance for Man Utd, scoring 35 goals for the club. He has a contract until 2024, with an option to extend by another year.
