The government’s independent investigative panel, composed of nine members, has absolved Maitama District Hospital in Abuja from any responsibility for the unfortunate death of Greatness Olorunfemi.

After an in-depth 94-page report, the panel set up in October submitted its outcome on Wednesday, following a thorough review of the situation regarding the incident.

It would be recalled that in October, Olorunfemi, was rushed to the Maitama Hospital by some good Samaritans after she fell a victim of the increasing one-chance crime in Abuja.

Reports suggest that she was stabbed and then thrown from a moving car, leading her to an untimely death when she was brought to the hospital.

The Maitama District Hospital is said to have declined to give emergency medical assistance despite the severity of the victim’s predicament.

But, according to the panel, it concluded that Olorunfemi was brought in lifeless by good Samaritans who saw her by the roadside.
