Subscribers to popular streaming platform, Netflix will have the luxury of enjoying ‘Living in Bondage: Breaking Free’ from May 22, FilmOne has confirmed.

The Play Network’s sequel will join four other Nollywood titles coming to the giant streaming platform this May including ‘Anchor Baby’ , ‘ The Delivery Boy’ which is currently streaming and ‘ Light in the Dark’.

Play Network Africa, the producers of the sequel also made the announcement on its Instagram page: “It is official! Counting down the days… Follow @playnetworkstudios to be the first to find out when it drops! #LivingInBondageOnNetflix,” the caption reads.

The movie recently scooped 7 awards at the recently concluded Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).

The movie follows the story of Nnamdi Okeke, Andy Okeke’s son and his desire and pursuit for wealth. It stars Ramsey Nouah who doubles as the movie’s director, JideKene Achufusi, Kenneth Okonkwo, Muna Abi, Shawn Faqua among others.

The Nigerian drama thriller film produced by Charles Okpaleke and directed by Ramsey Nouah, clinched 11 nominations out of which it took home seven award.

Among the awards the movie won are Best Overall Movie and Best Director for Ramsey Nouah and Steve Gukas. It was the first AMVCA win for Nouah.
