The first goal came from a penalty kick in the 30th minute after Lewis Cook fouled Cody Gakpo in the box. Salah confidently converted the penalty, which also moved him to sixth on the all-time Premier League top scorers list.

His second, which came in the 75th minute, was a testament to his skill, curling the ball into the top corner of the net, effectively sealing the game for Liverpool.

Following the win, Liverpool extended their unbeaten run in the league to 20 matches.
