Nigerian singer Burna Boy has released a new emotional song about the events that occurred recently at the Lekki toll gate on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.

Burna Boy stated in the new release shared on @cute9jamedia on instagram that there is nothing that will justify the killing of peaceful protesters at the Lekki toll gate.

Emphasising on the date that the event happened, Burna Boy said that it will remain hard to forget in the history of the country.

The new release however has been going viral on various social media platforms.

Burna Boy has been actively involved in the EndSARS protest that happened across the country in the past few days and it is not surprising that he recorded a song to show how he feels about it.

Recently, Burna Boy on his verified Twitter account shared that he has not slept since the day that youths were killed at the Lekki tollgate.

The singer noted that whenever he closes his eyes, all he sees is the Lekki toll gate. According to him, he has seen a lot of violence and death in his life but the recent one at Lekki traumatised him.
