Kelechi Iheanacho has been voted Leicester City’s Man of the Match, after he netted a 94th minute winner in the FA Cup win against Brighton and Hove Albion at the King Power stadium Wednesday night.

Leicester announced Iheanacho as the winner on their verified Twitter handle after conclusion of votes by the club fans.

In a four-man shortlist, the 24-year-old polled 40 per cent of the 1,453 votes cast.

Debutant Vontae Daley-Campbell was second with 38 per cent while James Maddison had 14 per cent.

Iheanacho came on for Jamie Vardy who returned from injury in the 62nd minute and got the winning goal on the 94th minute.

He leaped highest to head in Youri Tielemans’ cross and send Brendan Rodgers’ side into the last eight.

It was Iheanacho’s second goal in his last three games.
