Laycon emerges winner of BBNaija Lockdown show, the fifth edition since the show began in 2006.

As the winner, Laycon will walk away with N85 million, inclusive of a two-bedroom apartment and a brand new SUV.

The 26-year-old musician won by gaining 60 percentage of the votes. Leaving the other two finalists, Dorathy and Nengi with 25.85% and 15.03 percentage of votes respectively.

When asked about how he felt being among the top two, he said he was surprised to make top 2. He said he just came to the house to promote his EP.

The lockdown edition which began on June 30, had 20 contestants all vying for the grand prize of N85 million.

Determined by votes of viewers, each housemate faced eviction every week till the 70th day, where Laycon was announced winner of the season.

However congratulatory messages have been trending on Twitter for the past 2hours.
