A Nigerian rapper and artist, Olamilekan Agbeleshe, aka Laycon has boasted that his value has gone up after performing for the Grammy Recording Academy.

Laycon, the winner of the reality show, Big Brother season 5, again recorded an international milestone with the recent performance of his song ‘All over me’ on the Grammy Recording Academy.

The Recording Academy, organizers of the grammy awards had released a new episode of the ‘Press Play at Home’ performance of the rapper.

This puts Laycon in the league of other Nigerian artistes like Burna Boy and Omay Lay whohave performed for the Recording Academy/Grammy Awards.

Reacting to the achievement, the reality TV star and rapper during an interview session with the Channels Television expressed delight, while hinting that his price has just gone up.

The rapper also commended his team, record label, as well as his fans for their unending support.

In his words, “It is a big deal and I am not even going to try and be modest about it or downplay it. That is a very big deal.

“I have seen reactions and everyone is amazed. It is a result of hard work and the work of my team and label. It is a huge deal, he said.

“That is where people want to be and I am experiencing this in less than a year. There are bigger things to come, but I appreciate this and I am grateful. It means a lot to me and my price just went up.”
