A lawmaker at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Sobur Olayiwola Olawale has passed away on Tuesday.

Olawale, fondly called ‘Omititi’ was said to have slumped and died at the official flag-off campaign event for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu in Jos, Plateau State.

Olawale who represents Mushin Constituency II at the Lagos State House of Assembly, was said to have slumped when he was about leaving Rwang Pam Township Stadium, Jos where the event held.

It was gathered that the lawmaker had no chance as he died few minutes later before he could even be taken to hospital for medical treatment.

Olawale was born in 1964. He was the Chairman of the House Committee on Local Government Services. Omititi is survived by a wife and three children.
