US Vice President and Presidential nominee of the Democratic Party, Kamala Harris has thrown a jibe at the Republican Presidential nominee, ex-president Donald Trump’s decision to not engage in political debate with her.

During his recent campaign, Trump hurled insurting words like “crazy” and a “bum” among others, at Harris and turned down the call to debate with her face to face.

In response to that, Harris, the Democratic presdiential nominee responded to Trump’s decision, daring him to take the bull by the horn and accept to debate.

“Well Donald, I do hope you’ll reconsider to meet me on the debate stage, because as the saying goes, if you’ve got something to say, say it to my face,” Harris stated.

Speaking to a crowd of over 10, 000 supporters on Tuesday in a campaign rally held in Atlanta, Georgia, about her experience as a former prosecutor and California attorney general who has dealt with predators and fraudsters, Harris asserted that she knows “Donald Trump’s type.”

Additionally, she revealed that this knowledge has given her so much confidence in pitting her reputation against Trump’s.

“In this campaign, I will proudly put my record against his any day of the week,” she said.

Visiting Atlanta, Georgia, Vice President Harris hoped to draw attention from young Black voters and expand the party’s 2024 battleground map.

She also pledged that Americans “are not going back” to the “failed policies” of Trump.

Amidst a resounding applause, she said:”Now, the baton is in our hands. We have a fight in front of us… And we are the underdogs in this race.”

It would be recalled that following the incumbent president, Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the November presidential election in July, Vice President Harris assumed the role to bid for the presidency immediately.

According to record, her campaign has successfully raised a staggering financial support that is worth of about $200 million.
