Daniel Bwala, a well-known figure within the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar, has faced significant backlash for openly expressing his steadfast endorsement of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

Despite his affiliation with the PDP, Bwala has expressed his willingness to defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC) if necessary, in order to fully endorse and contribute to the success of President Tinubu’s leadership.

Following a thorough private meeting with President Tinubu at the Aso Rock Villa, Bwala commended the recent choices made, which encompassed the suspension of the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs due to financial impropriety.

Bwala made it clear that the Minister of Interior Olubunmi Tunji Ojo, who was accused of being involved in a consultancy contract, is not connected to any misconduct.

He vehemently denied the allegations leveled against both the minister and his firm, according to Arise Television.

Bwala claims that the President has given him assurance that additional measures to cut costs are being implemented in order to decrease the expenses associated with governance.

“Today I was delighted to meet President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, (GCFR) in the Villa to show appreciation and support for the bold decisions he is taking to deal with the crisis confronting our dear country,” Bwala said on his X account Wednesday night.

However, his visit to the Vila has sparked intense backlash from Nigerians on X who claim he is as unstable as the sea.

MisPearls said, “You speak from both sides of your mouth Bwala, you are as unstable as the sea.
No serious minded person should ever take you seriously. Ever!”

AdenikeAwe1 added, “He went back home to where he belongs. I blame Atiku for not seeing through him. He was a mole planted by Thiefnubu.”

@Mendel_graphics said, “I hope you’re preparing a long post of name-calling on Datti-Ahmed when he finally leaves the LP? None of you is seeing the signs. Politicians will stain your white. Keep sticking your neck out for them. You will learn the hard way.”

“They are all learning from FFK. Integrity does not pay in Nigeria politics. It is all about stomach infrastructure,” according to @StarofDavid66.

TheNewDiplomat recalls that Bwala had previously been affiliated with the APC prior to his involvement with the PDP in the build up to the 2023 general election.
