Senate Chief Whip, Orji Uzor Kalu has urged Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike to partner with the All Progressives Congress (APC) so that Rivers State can benefit more from the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Speaking to newsmen after he inspected some projects completed by Wike in Port Harcourt, Thursday, Kalu said he has done well and is needed in the progressives family.

The ex-governor of Abia added that he had a good discussion with Wike during his visit to Rivers state.

Kalu lauded Governor Wike for investing in critical infrastructure and called him to synergise with the APC.

The projects inspected are: Rumuokoro Flyover bridge, 2nd Artillery Flyover Bridge, Real Madrid football Academy and the Mother and Child Hospital in Rumuomasi.

Kalu said: “I urge the Governor to partner with the APC, I discussed with him all through the night to find a common ground with the APC. I believe that very soon it shall come to reality.

“So I urge Governor Wike to soft pedal on our party, humans can switch from one party to another which is human behavior in Africa.”
