Presidential hopeful and one of the National Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has cancelled a colloquium event organised to mark his 70th birthday.

The 13th colloquium scheduled to hold on Tuesday, 29th of March was cancelled in honour of the victims of the recent attack on a train transiting Abuja – Kaduna railway on Monday.

Tinubu, who made the announcement at Eko Hotels in Lagos, venue of the 13th Bola Ahmed Tinubu Colloquium, said  the event shouldn’t hold, calling on all Nigerians to pray against evildoers causing havoc in the country.

In his words, “This event should not be holding. I hereby cancel this Colloquium due to the incident of Kaduna. I urge you all to pray that Nigeria win this war against evil.”

Recall that scores of passengers were reportedly injured while several others were kidnapped during an attack on a train from Abuja to Kaduna.

It was gathered that the bandits detonated a bomb on the rail track of Abuja-Kaduna train and successfully immobilized it at a point between Katari and Rijana, just few kilometres to the Kaduna metropolis.
