 Kaduna State House of Assembly, has declared the seat of its Former Speaker, Aminu Abdullahi Shagali representing Sabon Gari constituency vacant.

This is sequel to the inability of the former Speaker to participate in the activities of the assembly for over a year without reason.

To this end, the Assembly has directed its Clerk to communicate with INEC to announce new date of re-run election for the seat.

In another development, the House has extended the suspension of four of its members: Yusuf Liman, (Makera), Isah Hazo (Basawa), Nuhu Goro Shadalafiya (Kagarko) and Hon Salisu Isa, a member representing Magajin Gari for another period of 12 months.

The decision was taken by the House during the plenary presided over by Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Dr. Isaac Auta Zankai Tuesday.
