Pa Ezekiel Abioye Odumakin, the father of late Activist and former Publicity Secretary of Afenifere, Comrade Yinka Odumakin has passed on.

Pa Odumakin died on Monday evening at the age of 116, according to family sources.

Breaking the news, Dr Joe Okei Odumakin said she spoke with the deceased earlier today, saying they had a brief prayer session and family discussions together hours to his passing.

Dr. Odumakin said papa Abioye Odumakin who was the Baba Ijo of C.A.C. Moro land, Osun state would be sorely missed as he was not only the patriarch but the rallying point for the entire family.

It would be recalled Pa Odumakin was bereaved of his Activist son, Yinka Odumakin, who passed on last year, leaving an ocean of tears in the wake of his departure among admirers nationwide.

Funeral announcements will be announced soon by the family, according to Dr. Okei Odumakin.
