The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has again summoned the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Joe Ajaero, and the General Secretary, Emma Ugboaja.

Ajaero and Ugboaja are billed to appear at Force Headquarters on September 5, 2024

The New Diplomat reports that this fresh summons is coming less than 24 hours after Ajaero honoured the Police’s invitation over alleged criminal conspiracy, terrorism financing, treasonable felony, subversion, and cybercrime.

Meanwhile, according to the latest summons, the NLC President and the General Secretary are expected to answer questions over alleged criminal intimidation, conducts likely to cause a breach of the public peace and malicious damage to properties.

It would be recalled that this is coming after some operatives of the NPF allegedly invaded NLC’s headquarters in Abuja recently.
