The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, on Tuesday met with the leader of pan-Yoruba socio-political organization, Afenifere, Chief Ayo Adebanjo and as well the southern and Middle Belt leaders.
The meeting was confirmed in a terse statement issued on the official Twitter page of Obi.
“Presently visiting PA Ayo Adebanjo and members of the South and Middle Belt Leadership Forum. The national leaders of the Labour Party and other stakeholders are here too. -PO” the presidential candidate tweeted.
The meeting is coming as part of efforts towards consulting with key leaders in the country ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
