President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday received the Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma at the presidential Villa, Abuja, in what is believed to be in connection with the dispute between the Governor and Senator Rochas Okorocha.
The no-love-lust relationship between Okorocha, a former Governor of the state and his successor, Uzodinma further went sour after the latter arrested the former, alongside some of his aides, for attempting to reopen the Spring Palm Estate which was sealed by the state government.
Personal Assistant to the President on Media, Buhari Sallau announced the meeting between President Buhari and Uzodinma at the Presidential Villa, Tuesday.
Sallau made this announcement on his official Twitter handle, while sharing pictures from the meeting.
The tweet reads: “President @MBuhari receives Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma in State House on 23rd Feb 2021.”
