The Anambra State Governor and candidate of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Willie Obiano has been announced winner of the state November 18 gubernatorial election with a total of 234,071 votes to beat his closet rival, Tony Nwoye of All Progressive Congress (APC), who scored 98,752.

The INEC Returning Officer (RO) and Vice Chancellor, University of Calabar (UNICAL), Professor Zana Akpagu, while declaring Obiano as winner of the poll, noted that he won in the whole of 21 local government areas of the state.

The candidates of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Oseloka Obaze scored 70,293; Osita Chidoka of United Progressive Party (UPP) got 7,446; and Godwin Ezeemo of Progressive People’s Alliance (PPA) polled 2,787.

Meanwhile, the final Result for Anambra House Of Assembly Idemili North LGA reveals that APGA =11,526; APC=5,677; UPP=2940; PDP=2,758.
