President Muhammadu Buhari will officially address Nigerians on the Coronavirus pandemic in the country by 7pm on today.
The decision is coming after a wave of criticism over his failure to directly speak to Nigerians since the pandemic struck Nigeria. Many Nigerians have been eager to hear what the President have to say on the raging pandemic as Nigeria has recorded 97 confirmed cases.
His Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, disclosed this in a statement.
Adesina said: “President Muhammadu Buhari will broadcast to the nation Sunday, March 29, 2020 at 7pm.
“Television, radio and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) respectively for the broadcast.”
