President Muhammadu Buhari has held a private meeting with Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, shortly after he arrived Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

It was gathered that part of the agenda for the meeting was on how to resolve Amosun’s suspension from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) over issues surrounding the 2019 governorship election in the state.

Buhari’s presidential chopper NAF 540 had touched down at Arcade Ground, State Secretariat, Oke-Mosan at about 10:30am.

The will commission some projects executed by the outgoing Governor Amosun.

Recall, Amosun was sanctioned for backing Adekunle Abdulkabir Akinlade, the APM candidate.

However, APC governorship candidate, Prince Dapo Abiodun, eventually won.
