President Muhammadu Buhari, on Sunday officially departed Abuja for his scheduled medical check-up in the United Kingdom.

This comes two days after he was billed to make the travel from Kenya. The President was meant to embark on the trip immediately after his trip to Nairobi, but had to shelve the appointment.

However, Buhari has now departed Abuja for UK. This was disclosed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, who took to his Facebook page yo share pictures of Buhari’s departure from the nation’s capital.

Buhari is expected to be in London for two weeks.

“President Buhari departs for medical check up in UK March 6th, 2022,” Adesina, said while announcing the president’s departure.
