President Muhammadu Buhari is set to embark on a “medical follow-up” trip to London, the United Kingdom (UK) on Friday.

This was announced in a statement issued by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina.

According to the statement, the President will depart the country on Friday for London for a scheduled medical follow-up.

Buhari is also expected to be back in the country in the second week of July.

The statement reads, “President Muhammadu Buhari will proceed to London, the United Kingdom on Friday, June 25, 2021, for a scheduled medical follow-up.

“He is due back in the country during the second week of July, 2021.”

It would be recalled that Buhari had jetted out of the country on March 30, 2021 for a “routine medical check-up” in London, United Kingdom.

He returned to Abuja on April 15.
