Unspecified number of students of Bethel Baptist School located in Maraban Rido, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna state have been abducted in their scores by gunmen suspected to be bandits.

It was learnt that the school was invaded at about 2am on Monday by the bandits, while shooting sporadically into the air before kidnapping the students.

The incident happened few hours after bandits reportedly storm the residential quarters of the National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Centre (NTLC) in Zaria, Kaduna State on Sunday where they abducted babies, female nurses and security guards.
