The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced that it will hold its national convention in February, 2022.

This announcement was made by the Governor of Kebbi state and Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum, Atiku Bagudu, while addressing the State House Correspondents in Abuja on Monday.

The announcement also came shortly after a meeting between President Muhammadu Buhari and a delegation of Governors elected on the platform of the APC led by Badaru and the Caretaker Committee Chairman of the APC, Governor Mai Mala Buni.

Badaru revealed that during the meeting, the President was brief on the decision of the Progressives Governors Forum when the members met on Sunday night.
