The All Progressives Congress (APC) has commenced its nationwide membership registration, update, and revalidation exercise in Daura, Katsina State with President Muhammadu Buhari fully in attendance.
The commencement of the exercise opens the way for stakeholdersĀ engagement scheduled for Monday, February 1. Other programs scheduledĀ to hold include the following: training of state and local government supervisors on Tuesday, February 2; and training of ward supervisors on Wednesday, February 3; while polling unit supervisors will receive their training on Thursday.
According to APC,Ā the distribution logistical movement of registration materials and other required materials to registration centers nationwide is currently ongoing and it is expected to end on Monday, February 8.
According to the schedule,Ā consideration of appeals and complaints from the registration exercise is billed toĀ hold between February 28 and March 5 while the party will display its membership register at all party wards and local government offices between 6th and 9th of March, 2021.
In line with the schedule, the national registration committee, under the leadership ofĀ Niger state governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello will be submitting final reports for the consideration of the partyās caretaker/extra-ordinary convention planning committee (CECPC) between 10th ā 15th March, 2021.
Recall thatĀ Buhari had earlier on Friday arrived in Daura, Katsina State to attend the APC Membership Registration.
