In another escalation of tensions rocking the Middle East, United States President Donald Trump has delivered a blistering warning to Iran, vowing that any attack on US interests will unleash the “full strength” of the American military.

He reiterated that Washington “had nothing to do” with Israel’s strikes on Tehran’s nuclear and intelligence facilities.

This comes after the Iranian government had threatened to attack the US, the United Kingdom, and France’s bases if they offer support to Israel in the ongoing conflict.

While Trump said he was aware of the Israeli operation before it started, he reiterated Sunday morning on his Truth Social platform that the United States “had nothing to do with the attack on Iran, tonight.”

“If we are attacked in any way, shape, or form by Iran, the full strength and might of the US Armed Forces will come down on you at levels never seen before,” he said.

He added that “we can easily get a deal done between Iran and Israel, and end this bloody conflict!!!”

The New Diplomat reports that this comes as Israel and Iran exchange devastating strikes, with missiles lighting up the skies.

On June 12, 2025, Israel launched a massive offensive dubbed “Operation Rising Lion,” targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities, ballistic missile sites, and key military figures. Over 200 Israeli fighter jets pounded more than 100 targets, including the Natanz enrichment facility and military bases in Tehran, Isfahan, and Kermanshah.

Iran retaliated swiftly, firing over 280 ballistic missiles at Israel since Friday, June 13. While Israel’s Iron Dome, bolstered by 7US support, intercepted most, some missiles reportedly struck civilian areas.
