A United States embassy in Tel Aviv, Israel, has reportedly been damaged by one of the missile strikes launched by Iran in the ongoing Middle East war.

The development was confirmed by the US ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, on Monday.

Huckabee said the embassy building in Tel Aviv sustained minor damage from a nearby Iranian missile strike, reporting no injuries to US personnel.

He said the development happened after Iran unleashed a barrage of missiles on Israeli cities early Monday.

“Some minor damage from concussions of Iranian missile hits near Embassy Branch in @TelAviv but no injuries to US personnel,” Huckabee said on X.

He said the US embassy in Jerusalem would remain closed on Monday as orders to “shelter in place (are still in effect.)

The New Diplomat reports that this comes after US President Donald Trump had warned Iran against attacking US soil or interests.

Trump had vowed that the full strength and might of the US would come down on Iran for any aggression against American soil or interests.

“The US had nothing to do with the attack on Iran, tonight. If we are attacked in any way, shape, or form by Iran, the full strength and might of the US Armed Forces will come down on you at levels never seen before,” he wrote on the Truth Social site.

Recall also that this comes after the escalation of conflict between Israel and Iran.

On June 12, 2025, Israel launched a massive offensive dubbed “Operation Rising Lion,” targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities, ballistic missile sites, and key military figures. Over 200 Israeli fighter jets pounded more than 100 targets, including the Natanz enrichment facility and the army bases in Tehran, Isfahan, and Kermanshah.

Iran retaliated swiftly, firing over 280 ballistic missiles at Israel since Friday, June 13. While Israel’s Iron Dome claimed it intercepted most, some missiles reportedly struck civilian areas.
