President Bola Tinubu has expressed relief and commendation for the Nigerian military’s recent achievements in the North-West. This follows a series of successful operations against security threats in the region.

It would be recalled that Tinubu had directed service chiefs to relocate to the North-West to restore peace. Consequently, troops of Operation Hadarin Daji eliminated notorious bandit leader Halilu Sububu and terrorist Sani Wala Burki. Additionally, 13 kidnapped students were rescued from a terrorist enclave in Kaduna.

In a statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President praised the military, intelligence agencies, and all security operatives for their “valiant efforts, synergy, and dedication.” He reaffirmed his confidence in their ability to secure the nation, stating:

The statement added:”The success of the operations gives further assurance that our security operatives are up to the task of ensuring the peace and security of the nation.”

Accordingly, Tinubu urged the security forces to maintain their efforts until all threats are eradicated and pledged his ongoing support to ensure the nation’s safety.
