The Inspector General Of the Nigerian Police, Ibrahim Idris, has deployed helicopters and an anti-bomb squad to the Kaduna Airport, in a bid to ensure maximum security and safety of passengers flying in and out of the state.

The IG made this known on Sunday when he inspected the security arrangement at the Kaduna Airport and environs.

This is coming as air traffic would now be diverted from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja to the Kaduna airport by Wednesday.
