It has now been revealed that the 24 year old Tolulope Atorile, who died at the Nigerian Air Force Base in Kaduna State on Tuesday, was hit by a car driven by a former classmate who wanted to greet her.
Until her death, Tolulope Arotile was Nigeria’s first female combat pilot.
It was gathered that the unnamed ex-classmate was reversing the car when it hit Tolulope Arotile who immediately fell and hit her head on the tarmac, leading to her death
NAF Director of Public Relations and Information Air Com. Ibikunle Daramola revealed on Wednesday in a statement in Abuja.

It stated, “Flying Officer Arotile died on July 14, 2020 at the age of 24, when she was inadvertently hit by the reversing vehicle of an excited former Air Force Secondary School classmate while trying to greet her.
This statement debunked the reported going the round that Arotile died while driving recklessly.
