The three front runners won their games by penalties to further extend what has been predicted as a mouthwatering challenge for the EPL title.

Man City who played first recorded a lone goal win over Wolves. Raheem Sterling scored from the spot to give his side all the three points, ensuring Man City stay top of the Premier League table for another week.

In a similar event, Liverpool won by a lone goal over Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa side at the Anfield stadium.
