Tottenham striker Harry Kane has now joined the league of elites in the Premier League as he won the 2020/21 Golden Boot and the Playmaker of the season awards.

The England International became the first player in 22 years to win both the Premier League’s Golden Boot and top the assists charts in the same campaign.

Kane and Liverpool’s forward Mohammed Salah were tied on 22 goals ahead of the final day.

Salah failed to score against Crystal Palace, while the Tottenham’s talisman netted his 23rd goal against Leicester City to win his third golden Boot award for the third time.

Kane also made 14 assists edging out Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes and Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne to win the Playmaker of the Season.

Kane recorded a total of 37 goal involvements in the Premier League this season, to win both the Golden Boot and the Playmaker awards.

Kane has now become the third player to win the two awards in the same season. The two other players are Andy Cole and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink who won in 1993/94 and 1998/99 seasons respectively.

On the other hand, Manchester City’s Goalkeeper, Ederson won the Premier League’s Golden Glove award, to see his side lift their fifth Premier League trophy.

The 27 year-old goalkeeper kept 19 clean-sheets for his side to beat Chelsea’s Edouard Mendy to the prestigious award.

Ederson also became the first goalkeeper to win the Golden Glove award back-to-back since Joe Hart who won between 2010 and 2013.

Ederson also made a total of 66 saves, recording 1 assit on his run to win his second Premier League Golden Glove award.
