The family of the late former Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of Access Holdings Plc, Dr Herbert Wigwe, has released the schedule of activities for his burial.
According to the programme, which was sighted by The New Diplomat, the burial ceremony of Wigwe will begin with a celebration of his professional legacy at the Eko Hotel in Lagos on March 4.
It will end with an outing service at the Redeemed Christian Church Of God (RCCG), Lion of Judah Parish, Isiokpo, Ikwerre LGA, Rivers, on March 10.
The lives of his son, Chizi and wife, Chizoba will be celebrated in separate ceremonies scheduled for March 5 at the Eko Hotel in Lagos, before a night of tributes a day later at the same venue.
A combined service of songs will be held on March 7 at the RCCG, Resurrection Parish, Lekki, followed by a Christian wake-keeping at Wigwe University, Isiokpo, Ikwerre LGA, Rivers.
The combined funeral and private interment service are scheduled for March 9, 2024.

The New Diplomat reports that on Friday, February 9, 2024, Wigwe, alongside his wife, son and Abimbola Ogunbanjo, the former group chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group Plc (NGX Group), passed away after their chopper with registration N130CZ, suffered a fatal crash.
Report from the US National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), since the tragic death, had revealed that law enforcement and eyewitnesses observed the helicopter transporting Wigwe engulfed in flames before it crashed.
