But to Halima, she was finally living her dream as the Creative Executive Officer of Lemaah Hassan, her personal brand.

“I hope to produce unique, modern and comfortable pieces that speaks to every woman, as well as pieces that will make ladies stand out anywhere in the world,” says the 22-year old graduate of the University of Coventry, London.

Despite being a qualified Barrister at law, Halima said she has always had passion for fashion as a little child, prompting her decision to join the fashion train with plenty of promising years ahead of her.

Her words: “If my dress wasn’t a colorful ball dress, I would not wear it. In fact when visitors came to visit, I would wear my balloon dress proudly and put on a fashion show.

“Having a fashion brand has always been a dream of mine and I am finally pursuing that dream. Thanks to Almighty Allah, my mum who stood by me and encouraged me to pursue my dream giving me all the moral, spiritual and financial support. My Dad for his prayers and financial support, my kid brother and sister for their criticism that has made my products better, as well as my extended family and friends,” the elated fashion queen relishes her accomplished dream.
