  • Dismisses Claims Of Comprises By Corps member

The Director General of the National Youth Service Corp, NYSC,
Brigadier General Yeshua Dogara Ahmed has dismissed report that corps member compromised in the last presidential election.

Ahmed who flayed those flying such blasphemous report, said the corps member should be hailed for putting their lives at risk for the survival of Nigeria’s democracy.

The NYSC DG said that corps member deployed for the election exercise as Ah dock Staff were properly tutored on the electoral laws as well as the bye-laws of the NYSC.

“Most Nigerians don’t know the risks the corps member are undertaking in this election. Some of them were deployed to communities where there are no security operatives. Some of them conduct the election exercise without a tent over their heads,” he said.

The DG said that the NYSC has insisted that adequate security are provided for the corps member deployed to volatile areas.

He urged voters to remain peaceful as they try to exercise their franchise.
