Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr Udom Gabriel Emmanuel on Wednesday presented 2019 budget proposal before the State House of Assembly.

Udom reviewed the performance of 2018 budget where a total of N646. 649 billion was approved for the fiscal year.

The 2019 budget proposal outlay is N670, 718 billion. Recurrent Expenditure forĀ  97,096 billion; Capital Expenditure 445,936 billio and Consolidated Revenue Fund Charges 127,686 billion.

Education sector will receive N15,050 billion, Health N18,021 billion Investment, Commerce & Industry N1.531 billion Road, Works and Transport N157. 311 billion and Agriculture N13.064 billion.

“This budget is intended to help us realize our collective dreams and aspirations for the State, while working in partnership with the private sector.” Gov Udom assured the Speaker Rt Hon Onofiok Luke.
