Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, has described traditional rulers as a stabilising force, that continues to act as agents of positive moral revolution, helping to spread the values of honour, dignity and humanity.

Uba Sani said this during a meeting with the Kaduna State Traditional Council, where he also announced the reinstatement of the Chief of Pariga, of Lere Local Government Area, dethroned by the El-rufai’s administration.

The meeting between Governor Uba Sani and the state’s traditional council was to discuss critical security issues, and the role of traditional rulers in addressing the state’s security challenges.

Uba Sani explained that traditional institutions remain the backbone of any government, due to their closeness to the grassroots.

He assured that his administration would accord traditional rulers the respect they deserved.

The Chairman of the Kaduna State Traditional Council, His Royal Highness Nuhu Bamali, expressed gratitude to the governor for reinstating the paramount Chief of Pariga, Jonathan Zamina, dethroned by El-Rufai’s administration.

He assured of the council’s support to ensure security in the state.

The action reversed the decision made by the immediate-past Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, on May 22, 2023, just a few days before handing over to the current administration.
