New Patriotic Party (NPP)’s candidate in the Ghana Presidential Election, Nana Akufo-Addo, has revealed that he has received congratulatory messages from other candidates in the race.

His rivals who have conceded victory are: Ivor Greenstreet, Paa Kwesi Nduom, Nana Konadu Rawlings, Edward Maham and Jacob Osei Yeboah

Akufo-Addo wrote on his official Twitter page: “I’ve received words of congratulation from Mr Greenstreet, Mrs Rawlings, Dr Nduom, Dr Mahama & Mr Yeboah. I thank them. May God bless Ghana.”

His campaign team has also claimed that its candidate is comfortably leading according to the results announced so far.

However, People’s National Convention (PNC)’s candidate, Dr. Edward Nasigre Mahama, has already denied congratulating Akufo-Addo .
