Iran has issued a threat to the United States, the United Kingdom, and France, telling these countries to stay clear of its war with Israel.

The Iranian government on Saturday warned that it would attack the bases of the US, UK, and France across the Middle East if they offer any support for Israel in the ongoing conflict.

According to Iranian media reports, this statement was issued by Iranian Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh.

The development also follows intensified hostilities between Israel and Iran after nuclear attacks on Friday.

The New Diplomat reports that the conflict began when Israel launched an Operation Rising Lion, which targeted Iran’s nuclear program, including the Natanz enrichment facility, and killed key figures like Hossein Salami, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), along with several nuclear scientists.

Following the attack, Iran unleashed a barrage of ballistic missiles and drones targeting Israel on June 13, 2025, in retaliation for Israel’s strikes on its nuclear facilities and military leadership.

Recall also that Iran’s threat comes after US President Donald Trump appeared to have pledged support for Israel’s defence.

Trump had urged Iran to negotiate a nuclear deal to halt the violence, warning that “it will only get worse” if Tehran continues its retaliation.
