The United Kingdom(UK)has approved an update of the number of organisations licenced to sponsor work visas for Nigerians and other countries foreign workers.
An updated list recently released showed that the approved companies licenced to offer work visas to Nigerians and other foreign workers stand at 119,195.
According to the government of the UK, Nigerians who are interested in working in the UK are encouraged to explore the websites of these approved companies for available job vacancies.
The approved employers span various sectors, including technology, commerce, education, media and advertising, and engineering.
The UK government clarified that a skilled worker visa allows individuals to enter or remain in the UK for an eligible job with a licenced employer.
This visa category covers several worker routes, including charity workers, skilled workers, creative workers, global business mobility, and international sportspeople.
