Chelsea suffered its first defeat of the 2021/22 English Premier league season on Saturday in a 1-0 loss to Manchester City at Stamford Bridge amid fans’ frustration.

Manchester City secured all three points thanks to Gabriel Jesus’ second-half winning goal.

The Man City striker struck home just after half-time with a deflected effort from inside the box off Jorginho.

Following the win, Man City moved to second on the EPL table while Chelsea drop to third position.

Also, Aston Villa defeated Manchester United with a lone goal at the Old Trafford.

Burno Fernandes failed to convert from the spot to put Manchester United level with Aston Villa.

Aston Villa’s Kortney Hause goal at the 88th minute proved enough to secure his side all the three points.
