The House of Representatives was again thrown into a rowdy session as the alleged case of budget padding was brought for discussion today.

According to a source: The House of Reps Chairman on Rules and Business, Emmanuel Oker-Jev, moved a motion for the matter to be investigated, claiming it has brought stigma on the Lower Legislative Chamber.

The Speaker of the House, Yakubu Dogara who ruled on the motion instructed the Ethics and Privileges Committee to investigate and report back to the House. The matter which threw the house in disarray led members into shouting at the top of their voices.
