Fresh crisis has erupted in the Delta State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) as two political gladiators engage in escalating war of words over the recently held House of Representatives primaries for Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu Feder al Constituency.

In the recent primary, Hon Telab Tebite was initially declared winner of the contest. However, that victory was shortlived as Hon Solomon Ahwinahwi, a former member of the House of representatives petitioned the PDP hierarchy, a development which triggered a rerun.

In the reported rerun primary, the election returning officer has reportedly declared Hon. Solomon Ahwinahwi winner of the just concluded Ughelli/Udu Federal Constituency re-run delegates election at Ughelli Township Stadium.

But in a swift reaction, Tebite said he rejects the outcome of today’s re-run. “I still remain the winner”, Hon. Taleb Tebite said.
