With Peru becoming the last country to join 31 others that had qualified for Russia 2018 world cup final, the ticket for the mundial was on Wednesday officially announced to be ready for sale.
The information was posted on FIFA official media page by 12 noon Russian time.

The world’s single most popular sporting event has the ticket price ranging from $105 to $172.94. It was also made clear that the tickets will be sold on first come, first serve basis. Meanwhile, 622,117 tickets have been allotted compared to 473076 allotted for Brazil 2014.

From the total number of applications, the majority has come from Russia, and based on the results of the Random Selection Draw process 57 per cent of tickets were allocated to Russian fans.

Tickets allocated to international fans account for 43 per cent of the total number of allocated tickets and the US, Chinese, German, Brazilian, Israeli, English, Finnish, Mexican and French fans all rank in the top ten.
In the last mundial, FIFA received approximately 11 million ticket requests in the run up to 2014 World Cup in Brazil with a total of 2,961,911 sold by 05 June. 60% of those were snapped up by the tournament hosts, equating to an impressive 1,363,179 tickets.
The United States accounts for the largest slice of the remaining 40%. 196,838 tickets were sold to fans of the Stars and Stripes, quite a distance ahead of the 61,021 tickets sold to Argentinean fans who round off the top three.

While nearly 3 million tickets were sold in 2014, Russia 2018 tickets sales expectations are higher. as at media time over 1.6 million request has been made by fans.

It was confirmed in September, by the Organising Committee for FIFA Competitions, that all teams will be allocated to (eight-team) pots 1 to 4 based on sporting principles. The October 2017 edition of the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking will be used to allocate all qualified teams to the four pots according to their ranking in descending order, after hosts Russia, who take the top seeding spot.

With those factors in mind, here are the final pots for the Final Draw:

 POT 1 POT 2 POT 3 POT 4
Russia Spain Denmark Serbia
Germany Peru Iceland Nigeria
Brazil Switzerland Costa Rica Australia
Portugal England Sweden Japan
Argentina Colombia Tunisia Morocco
Belgium Mexico Egypt Panama
Poland Uruguay Senegal Korea Republic
France Croatia Iran Saudi Arabia

It is worth remembering that the principle of drawing the teams into the groups will remain unchanged. This means that no teams from the same confederation, with the exception of UEFA, which could have up to two teams in the same group, will be drawn into the same group.

The Final Draw will take place on Friday 1 December at Moscow’s State Kremlin Palace. Make sure to follow the event as it unfolds on FIFA.com and across social media platforms: TwitterFacebook and Instagram.
