Senator Dino Melaye representing Kogi West at the Senate on Tuesday vowed to continue speaking the truth despite what he described as clear vindictive allegation against him by certain online media organization.

The Senator stated this while addressing Senate correspondents immediately after plenary on Tuesday. He said the intention of the allegation is to distract and slow him down from speaking the truth. “The intention is to distract and slow me down but I will continue to speak the truth at all time” Melaye said.

Melaye also welcome the investigation of by the Senate ethics and privilege committee and promise to step down as member of the committee when the matter is been investigated. “It is welcome development and I will submit myself to the ethics and privilege committee. I will also step down when the matter is been consider by the committee” Melaye added.

The Senator  who posses 7 degrees from different Universities both in Nigeria and outside the country, added that he is currently running a Master Degree Programme in Law Enforcement and Criminal Justices at the same Ahmadu Belo University (ABU).
