This is according to the Federal High Court ruling, Abuja, on Monday.

Kanu, who was arrested abroad last month, has been in custody of the Department of State Services (DSS). He was due to be in court on Monday but the Federal Government did not produce him in court.

The prosecution counsel, M. B. Abubakar, informed the court that the matter was slated for hearing and that they were ready to continue.

The court adjourned to October 21, 2021, for continuation of hearing.
