- Osanebi, Obigor, Others To Join Strategic Meeting With Omo-Agege

With the political atmosphere gradually gathering momentum, the political landscape and dynamucs in Delta State are starting to take shape.
This is as Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, who served as the distinguished Senator representibg Delta North senatorial district of Delta State in the Nigerian Senate from 2015 to 2023, is poised to spearhead a gathering of prominent stakeholders from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta North for a crucial and high-profile meeting with Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, immediate past Deputy President of the Senate and the 2023 governorship candidate of the APC in Delta State.
Nwaoboshi, together with a coalition of influential leaders and stakeholders from APC in Delta North, have conveyed their enthusiasm and commitment to welcoming the immediate-past Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, CFR, to a series of stakeholders meetings taking place in Delta North.
The New Diplomat gathered that the meeting, which would be held in nine Local Government Areas of Delta North, is aimed at building a stronger APC ahead of the 2027 general elections in Delta State.
This was contained in a press statement jointly signed by Senator Nwaoboshi and the host of Delta North APC Stakeholders.
The gatherings are set to take place over six days, starting on Friday, January 31, and concluding on Wednesday, February 5, 2025.
The statement reads in part: “We, the undersigned stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), are delighted and wish to associate ourselves with the stakeholders’ meetings with Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, CFR, scheduled to be held across the nine Local Government Areas of Delta North.
“Further to notices of stakeholders’ meetings extended by the respective Local Government Party Chairmen, we enjoin all members and stakeholders to participate and contribute constructively towards building a stronger and more united party, as we look forward to welcoming the Distinguished Senator Omo-Agege to Delta North.”
The statement was endorsed by a long list of APC leaders and party executives from Delta North.
